2027 Ambassador program 2027 Applicants! Thank you so much for your interest in becoming a 2027 Ambassador! Our application period is currently closed. Program Requirements As a Cleveland Marathon Ambassador, you are an important part of helping us promote the race and connect with runners in the Cleveland community. We ask ambassadors to stay involved throughout the year and help us build excitement leading up to race weekend. Ambassador Expectations Participate in the 2027 Cleveland MarathonAmbassadors must participate in at least one 2027 Cleveland Marathon race distance of their choice. Promote the Cleveland MarathonHelp spread the word about the Cleveland Marathon through your social media channels, friends, family, workplace, running groups, and local community. Stay active on social mediaShare at least 2 posts per month related to the Cleveland Marathon. Posts can include, but are not limited to: Training updates Registration reminders Your race distance or goals Favorite Cleveland Marathon memories Pre-race routines Race-day plans Running tips or experiences Cleveland Marathon events and updates Ambassador experiences Share Cleveland Marathon contentRepost and share content from the Cleveland Marathon throughout the year to help increase engagement and reach more runners. Help share important updatesHelp spread the word about registration deadlines, promotions, events, race updates, and other important Cleveland Marathon information. Answer basic questionsBe available to answer basic questions from friends, family, and followers about the Cleveland Marathon. If you're unsure about something, please direct them to the Cleveland Marathon team or website for the most up-to-date information. Race weekend supportAmbassadors must complete at least one volunteer shift during race weekend and help with ambassador or other event activities when needed. Community outreachHelp distribute Cleveland Marathon promotional materials throughout your local community. This may include running stores, gyms, fitness studios, races, expos, and other local events. Ambassador badgeShare the official Cleveland Marathon Ambassador badge on your social media channels to identify you as part of the ambassador team. Post-race recapShare a post-race recap within 48 hours of race weekend. This can be a post, reel, story, photos, or any other type of social media content. Ambassador Perks Ambassador Perks -1 complimentary race entry for the event of your choice – challenge series included. -Official ambassador swag -Profile featured on the Cleveland Marathon website. -Official ambassador spotlight – your profile will be blasted across the Cleveland Marathon social media channels. -Access to a private ambassador Facebook group for information and discussions with race staff. -Exclusive invitations to ambassador meet-ups. -Invitation to the Cleveland Marathon -VIP brunch on race weekend.
