Cleveland Marathon elite program
The UH Cleveland Marathon invites qualified athletes to apply for participation in our Elite Field. Selected elite athletes will receive a 50% reduction in the race registration fee based on demonstrated past performance.
In order to qualify for consideration for the Cleveland Marathon Elite Field, a runner must meet the time standards below:

Elite Athlete Benefits
Elite Athletes will receive:
- 50% off the race registration fee
- Placement in the Elite Corral at the front of the starting field
- Custom Elite bib
- Dedicated finish-line tent for elite athletes
- Express bib pickup at the Health & Fitness Expo
How to Apply
To apply, email info@clevelandmarathon.com with the following:
- Full name
- Age
- Address
- Recent qualifying race and finish time
- Link to your official race result or results page
Applications are due by March 1, 2027.
Meeting the qualifying standard does not guarantee acceptance into the Elite Field. Applications will be reviewed based on demonstrated race performance and field considerations.
