Finish Line – St. Clair Avenue & W. Mall Drive RACE DAY Start/Finish: St. Clair Avenue & W. Mall Drive Runners completing Legs 1 and 2 will walk back to Mall B to enjoy the finish-line festivities and reunite with their teammates. Leg 1: Approximately 0.3-mile walk back to Mall B Leg 2: Approximately 0.6-mile walk back to Mall B Leg 3: Cross the marathon finish line at St. Clair & W. Mall Drive/Mall B IMPORTANT: NO SHUTTLES No shuttles will be provided for relay participants. Teams should plan accordingly and review the suggested downtown parking options available on the Cleveland Marathon website. WHAT'S INCLUDED RELAY FAQs Q: How many runners are on a relay team? A: Each team consists of three runners. Q: How far does each runner run? A: Leg 1 is 5.1 miles, Leg 2 is 7.1 miles, and Leg 3 is 14 miles. Q: Where does the relay start & finish? A: St. Clair Avenue & W. Mall Drive. Q: What happens after I finish Leg 1 or Leg 2? A: Runners will walk back to Mall B to enjoy the finish-line festivities and reunite with their teammates. Q: Are shuttles available? A: No. Relay participants are responsible for their own transportation. Q: Who can participate? A: Anyone! The relay is perfect for friends, family, coworkers and corporate teams. Q: Will I receive a relay medal? A: Yes. All relay participants receive a special relay medal. Q: Can I choose which leg I run? A: Yes. Teams can decide among themselves which runner will complete each leg. Q: Can a runner complete more than one leg? A: Yes. A runner may complete more than one leg, but they must pay the registration fee for each additional leg. Q: Can a runner transfer into or out of the Team Relay?A: Yes. Transferring INTO the Team Relay: If you are currently registered for another race distance, you can transfer into the Team Relay if the team captain has already created the team. Transferring OUT of the Team Relay: If you are already registered as a member of a Team Relay and want to transfer to a different race distance, race staff must process the transfer for you.
