CLEVELAND (Aug. 28, 2020) – The Cleveland Marathon announced today that registration for the 2021 race is now open. The marathon staff also announced details of the 44th running of Cleveland’s premier race, which will take place May 15-16, 2021, in downtown Cleveland.

The marathon continues to work with city and state departments of health, as well as our medical partner, University Hospitals, to protect the safety of all participants in 2021. As alternatives, runners may participate in the Virtual Event or defer their participation to the 2021 or 2022 race.
