Don Basch Jewelers Creates Custom Sterling Silver Jewelry Pieces May 11, 2022 CLEVELAND - (May 11) — The Union Home Mortgage Cleveland Marathon announced today that local, family-owned Don Basch Jewelers is creating commemorative custom sterling silver jewelry pieces for those participating in this year’s race.

The pendants are made right here in Cleveland at the Don Basch flagship store in Macedonia and can be personally engraved. The multiple designs include striking details such as the Cleveland skyline or bold “CLE” lettering and can be customized with race time and distance information. The race is set to return to its annual spring timeframe and is scheduled for May 21 and 22 with the Health and Fitness Expo to take place beginning May 20 at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland.

Read More 2022 Course March 08, 2022 CLEVELAND - (March 8, 2022) - Participants in the 45th Union Home Mortgage Cleveland Marathon will have a change of scenery this year but will still enjoy some of the most noted sights the city and surrounding neighborhoods have to offer.

All races will start and finish at Memorial Plaza in the shadow of the Fountain of Eternal Life statue in downtown Cleveland. Originally dedicated to Korea and Vietnam veterans, the fountain has since been known to recognize any loss of service men or women since 1899. The fountain also has subtle nods to diversity as it represents different cultures, religions and backgrounds.

CLEVELAND – (July 28, 2021) – The Union Home Mortgage (UHM) Cleveland Marathon today announced the routes for its 44th race to take place Oct. 23-24 in downtown Cleveland.

Marathon organizers have worked closely with health and safety officials from the City of Cleveland, Cuyahoga County and the State of Ohio to assemble routes that maximizes safety while giving participants a striking view of the city that the marathon calls home. Read More
