GNC joins Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon as Pace Team sponsor

CLEVELAND (April _, 2018) – GNC Holdings, Inc., a leading health and nutrition retailer, has joined the 41^st Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon as the official Pace Team sponsor.

“GNC shares our message of living an active, healthy lifestyle, and we welcome them with open arms,” said Ralph Staph, race director for the Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon. “They will bring energy and inspiration to all our runners and walkers on race day as they push toward the finish line.”

The Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon offers Pace Teams in the marathon and half marathon, which provide encouragement and support for runners to reach their goal time. GNC, headquartered in Pittsburgh, will also be providing water bottles to runners in the finish line recovery area.

The 41^st Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon will take place May 19-20 in downtown Cleveland. The new one-mile race, 8k, 5k and Kids’ Run races will be run on Saturday. On Sunday, the marathon, half marathon and 10K will start at 7 a.m. on Ontario Street at Quicken Loans Arena.

Registration for any of the race weekend events is available online at clevelandmarathon.com/registration.

About the Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon 

One of the 50 oldest races in the country, the 2018 Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon will take place May 19-20. The following opportunities are available for people to participate in the event: full marathon, half marathon, 10K, 8K, 5K, one mile and Kids’ Run.
