The Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon Race Details

The Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon, Half Marathon & 10K is one of the longest standing running traditions in the Midwest. Celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2017, it is one of the 50 oldest marathons in the U.S.

The Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifier. Both the Marathon and the 10K are USATF certified courses. The Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon is a member of Running USA, a national organization for the road racing industry.

Each year, Cleveland hosts between 15,000-18,000 runners and walkers and thousands more spectators for its various events over Race Weekend.

Sunday, May 21, 2017 at 7:00 a.m. -  All Events

All participants in the Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon, Half Marathon & 10K should plan to be at the starting line at least 45 minutes to an hour before the start of the race. If driving in, you must be downtown before 6 a.m. when many roads begin shutting down.

The announcer will go over important race details that you will need to know.  Also, you will need time to use the facilities and find the appropriate place in the starting corral based on your anticipated finish time. With more than 15,000 runners, this process can take some time.
