Half Marathon
13.1 Miles
Just like the marathon, the half marathon features a relatively fast and flat course, great volunteer support and a scenic view of downtown Cleveland and its major landmarks. The course has been designed for our athletes to enjoy views of Browns Stadium, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Lake Erie and many other Cleveland highlights. The 13.1 mile course mirrors the first half of the marathon course through mile 12. Half marathoners will turn off at that time, but finish at the same location as the marathoners at E. 12th St, near the Galleria Mall.
All half marathon runners and walkers will receive a
goodie bag, T-shirt, and results book that will be mailed out after
the race. Half marathon finishers will receive a unique finishers
medallion with an electric guitar that spins.
Half Marathon Walkers
In order to complete in the walking division, you will be expected to walk the entire distance; completion of the course is on the honor system.
