2020 virtual Registration & FAQs

Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon Champions! Even though the 2020 is a Virtual Event, you can still register and crush your running goals. Get registered, get moving and #ConquertheLand.



Fee Schedule through May 17, 2020

Full Marathon:  $110

Half Marathon: $100

10K:  $75

5K:  $50

Challenge Series: (5K/Half, 5K/Full, 10K/Half, 10K/Full)
Please register for both events you would like to complete. You must run two consecutive days and upload results for each event.  You will receive all of your swag via mail. Swag includes 2 T-Shirts, 3 Medals and a Duffel Bag.

Please note:

  • There will be no future fee increases
  • Are you running for a Charity Partner?  You may still fundraise for one of our 2020 Charity Partners, contact your charity of choice first.

Already registered?

If you are currently registered for the 2020 race, you will be automatically coverted to the Virtual Event unless you wish to defer (see below).

What is a Virtual Event? Let us explain... 

  • Do the distance you signed up for between April 15th and May 17th. Jump in and commit to moving your body by doing a 5K, 10K, Half Marathon or Full Marathon at YOUR PACE
  • Bring your spirit and look at the positive! We all need to keep active at this time of social isolation. The Cleveland Marathon wants to promote healthy living in our community.
  • Document it! Follow us on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter then use hashtag #IConqueredMyLand. Show us your training, progress and your virtual event!

  • Keep your eye out for our mini-challenges and contests! We have a lot of fun stuff planned with our sponsors and we want you to share in our excitement. As the team at Fleet Feet says #RunningIsNotCancelled
  • Send us your results because we want to see 'em! We are creating a virtual result submission page that we will share with you closer to April 15th. Reminder: The virtual run will take place between April 15th and May 17th. 
  • Get your swag! We will send you your shirt and medal in June (or when it is safe to do so). We are really excited for you to see our gear this year.

During these times, we ask you don't run as a group and DO practice social distancing. We expect you will practice the guidelines suggested for your community, following regulations and exceptions set in place to help us all move through this and keep each other safe.


What if I don't want to participate virtually?

If you do not want to participate virtually, we are giving you the option to defer to 2021 or 2022. The race dates are:
2021: May 15 & 16
2022:  May 21 & 22

How to defer:
1. Sign in to your Race Roster account here 
2. Click “Edit registration” next to your registration(s):


3. Check the box that says 'Defer my registration (valid for 2021 OR 2022)'. Then click 'save & exit'


If you have trouble accessing your account (such as forgotten password, can’t see the edit button, etc. call our registration partner Race Roster at 1-855-969-5515)

Then what will happen?
First, we will collect your answers. Then we will assign you a deferral code for 2021 and send it to you via email. Stay tuned for this code, we are getting the 2021 race set up. Re-registration is necessary to collect your updated information and sign the waiver. If you don't use it in 2021, we will apply it to 2022.
