Rules & Regulations
All rules set forth for the Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon, Half Marathon & 10K have been established in order to protect the safety of our participants and keep us in good standing with our governing body, the USATF. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated in helping everyone to enjoy race day.
1. Only registered participants are allowed on the official race course.
2. No wheeled vehicles, other than participants registered in the Wheelchair Challenge, are permitted on the course.
3. All participants who are not finished after 8 hours, must agree to move to the sidewalk if they choose to finish the race. They are no longer protected by race security after 8 hours.
4. Participants are not permitted to use headphones during the event. Please see the FAQ page for more information.
5. Any participant who knowingly or unknowingly runs off the official course is subject to disqualification.
6. Bibs are not transferable. Transferred bibs will result in disqualification.
7. All participants must be registered prior to race day. There is no race day registration or packet pick-up.
8. Runners should familiarize themselves with and follow all rules of the USATF during the race.
