REGISTRATION POLICIES

There is no race day registration - except for the Kids Run.

There are no refunds or transfers to future race dates.

Once the caps for each event are met, no new registration, event switches or bib transferring will be permitted.

Registration changes will not be allowed once bib labeling starts - deadline is April 20, 2012.
Event Switching
You are currently able to switch races until bib labeling begins (April 20, 2012). If an event is still open at the Expo/packet pick-up, switching will be permitted.
There is a $20 switch fee plus the difference in event fees should you upgrade. This is an industry-standard fee charged by most races that we've avoided for many years. However, due to significant numbers of race switches, our administrative costs have risen immensely.

Registration/Bib Transfers
Beginning on January 9, 2012, you may transfer your registration to another runner should you decide you cannot participate in the event.
Please note: Transfers are available ONLY BETWEEN SAME EVENTS. For example if you are registered for the Full Marathon, the Transferee must wish to participate in the Full Marathon and this is the same for each event. If your Transferee is interested in another event, you must first request an Event Switch through the Marathon Office. It is best to find someone who is interested in your current event.
There is a $20 fee to transfer your registration.Transferring is available until April 20, 2012 or until an event is sold out, and will not permitted after that time. Payment for a transferred bib should be handled directly between the person who wishes to transfer and the transferee (new runner) on their own terms. We are not responsible for this portion of the transaction.
Step-by-Step Instructions to Transfer your Registration/Bib
Please follow these instructions only if you wish to transfer your registration and become a Non-Participant.
1) Click on the following link to begin the transfer:

2) If you wish to have someone take your place - choose "Bib Transfer - Register to have someone take your place".You must be currently registered for this option.
3) Follow the instructions in Active through to completion. You will need to enter your Active Confirmation Number. There is a link provided should you need an additional copy of your confirmation number.
4) An e-mail with a Transfer Code, Transfer Code Password and Registration Link will be sent to you within one week from the Marathon Office. Please forward this email to the Transferee (the person taking your spot). This information is required for the new person to register.
5) You will be moved into the Non-Participant Category.
Step-by-Step Instructions for Transferee (New Runner)
Please follow these instructions if you wish to purchase a registration/bib from another runner.
1) Before you begin, make sure you have your Transfer Code and Transfer Password from the person who is transferring their registration/bib to you.
2) Click on the following link to begin:

4) Enter your Transfer Code and Transfer Password and complete the registration form. You will then receive a confirmation email from Active.
