MetroHealth Wheelchair Challenge
The Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon, Half Marathon & 10K is an excellent venue for wheelchair athletes of all skill levels. The MetroHealth Wheelchair Challenge has been a part of the Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon, Half Marathon, & 10K since 1987, bringing in some of the best wheelchair talent from around the world, and launching the marathon careers of many others.
Marathon wheelers start slightly ahead of the Marathon runners, at approximately 6:55 AM. 10K Wheelers start slightly ahead of the 10K runners, at approximately 7:30 AM.
